About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial management of multiple rail infrastructure projects from inception to completion
  • Oversee contract administration, including claims, variations, and dispute resolution
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimise project performance
  • Provide financial oversight including forecasting, cost control, and reporting
  • Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop commercial team members

About You

  • Extensive experience in a senior commercial role within a major project environment, ideally rail or major civil projects
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and experience with standard forms.
  • Proven ability to manage complex claims, negotiations, and dispute resolution processes
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially driven with strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related discipline
